Easter Bunnies Attack

I got to thinking it is almost Easter and thought I would share something I made last year for grandson's class.  They are fast and easy to make.  Hope you have fun.

Instructions:

White craft foam 5"x7"

Colored craft foam for the bow tie

Pink craft foam for ears

2 - 1" white pom poms

1 - 1" colored pom pom

1 - 1/2" baby pink pom pom

1 big wiggle eyes

Bottle of Aleene's tacky glue

1.    Dray a bunny face that takes up the full 5"x7" sheet of white foam

2.    Cut a bow tie out of the colored foam

3.    Cut two pink pointed ovals for the inside of the ears

4.    Now glue together.

5.    Glue bow tie to bunny neck area, and big pom pom in the middle of the tie

6.    Glue pink in the ears, the two white pom poms for the nose, and the little pink above the white pom poms, and glue the eyes on.

7.    Let dry over night.

8.    The surprise is glued to the back of the foam head is a zip lock bag stuffed with candy.

9.    The other thing that can be done is glue a solo cup to the back and stuff with treats.

10.   The kids will love you for it!!!!

Terra Cotta Candy Dish

Today, February 20, 2012, I started this post.  I have always loved crafting.  Between sewing, painting, and crafting with kids my heart is always filled with joy that comes from God's touch and letting me be able to teach others how to have fun.  That is what I hope I can do here.  This is a learning process for me so bare with me as I venture on this new path of learning a new tech venture.  I will hopefully be able to share many things with you and my friends. 

This is one of the last things my daughter and I made. 

Instructions

2 Terra cotta pots

4 pot bases

2 medium size Betta fish bowls

2 wooden knobs or pots

1/8" thin sticky foam

E-6000 glue

1.    Fist paint the pots the color you wish.

2.    Then glue the pat base to the pots bottom.

3.    Then glue the wooden knob to the other pot base. 

4.    Once theses parts have dried it is time to glue the Betta bowl to the pot base.

5.    Take the lid and glue or stick the 1/8" foam to the inside.  This way the lid won't move.

The total cost is less than $5.00.  This makes a great teachers gift.  Let me know how yours turns out.
